pure barre on demand review | a great quarantine workout routine

For those of you that know me personally, you know how much of a yoga, ballet barre and pilates addict I am. Today though, we're talking about barre, Pure Barre to be exact.

Now, I've been a ballet barre fan for years and I've taken many Pure Barre classes over the years. In fact, my very first Pure Barre class is what got me hooked on ballet barre. If you are unfamiliar with Pure Barre or the ballet barre workout scene. It is a full body low-impact workout which targets trouble areas such as the stomach, thighs, seat, arms and hips. The workout uses small isometric movements to target and isolate muscles to build long, lean muscles. Often times, people think you need to have a dance background to take a ballet barre class and let me tell you, that's totally untrue and FALSE. The class is friendly to any and all workout levels and all you really need is a good attitude and the desire to just try something new.

Now, with many of us experiencing lockdown due to COVID-19, I know there are a lot of people out there who's normal workout routines have been either disrupted or well totally and completely have disappeared.

Looking for some at-home fitness options to keep my daily workout routine in-sync, I decided to sign up for Pure Barre's On-Demand Workout's. At first I was a bit apprehensive about signing up for their On-Demand Service as I wasn't sure the workout would be as fun or as challenging as the in-studio workouts I've experienced where I leave knowing and feeling as though results will be the reward. However, I have to tell you after my first On-Demand workout I found myself hooked and in love with barre all over again.

PURE BARRE WORKOUT REVIEW

So, I've been doing the Pure-Barre On-Demand classes for a few weeks now and what I really love about them is the wide variety of workout offerings. The workouts range from 5 minute workouts to 60 minute workouts. The instruction is easy to follow and completely straight to the point with each video segmented into chapters (warm up, upper body, thighs, glutes and abs. I also love that every on-demand workout really leaves you feeling like you've really challenged yourself.

As I mentioned previously, I've done several in-person barre classes in the past as well as various online workouts over the years. I especially love the Pure Barre online platform they have created. Unlike some other online barre workouts out there that I have done previously this one definitely does get you to break a sweat and in a totally good way.

PRICE

Now, another thing we should note is the price. Pure Barre On-Demand is currently $29.99 a month. Which for the variety you get I think is worth it. It's also much cheaper than the normal in-person class price of $25 a month. If you commit to doing a few Pure Barre workouts a week, then the On-Demand price is extremely affordable and well worth the cost. I think it's important to note that they do offer 1-FREE Week though and you can find that here if you want to give it a try.

So, I have to say there’s no question that I recommend Pure Barre On-Demand. You can work out whenever you want, from wherever you are and find a workout to fit your needs. I'll definitely be keeping my subscription to the On-Demand Service and think if you're finding yourself in a workout rut during these quarantine times that you should certainly give it a try. I highly recommend it!
